Transient simulation finishing before final time

I was running some transient simulations and one of them finished before the final time I had set up before.
What could be the reasons for that occurring?

On another note, what could have gone wrong if I got the following error: "solver residue too high"?

Hi Ignacio,
whenever a transient solution does not reach the end, it is because it "crashed" so you have to check the errlog file and figure out why it stopped. If you have a "solver residue too high", take a look at how much higher than the threshold it was (you can loosen it a bit here: md.settings.solver_residue_threshold). But generally it indicates that the model is not doing great. Plot the results of the last transient step to see what's going on.
