Installation.

FAST can be used without any installation.

Dependencies.

FAST requires the installation of several third-party packages for
its code checks.  However, the core capability supported by FAST
only requires standard scripting languages, like Python and Perl, and
CVS.

Platforms.

FAST should work on virtually any variant of unix, and
it has been tested on PC platforms using the MS Windows scheduler.

Further Help.

This is a RESEARCH code and is the subject of continuing active
development.  Bug reports, suggestions for improvement, and required
changes for other machines/compilers are welcome, but these issues will
be addressed as funding and time permit.
