I am currently working on modelling a glacier in Alaska and have gotten stuck on what I am thinking might be an inversion issue. My RMS error is extremely high so I modelled the difference between the observed and modelled velocities and found that everything seems normal except that around the margins the modelled velocity is about 1000 m/yr higher than it should be. I have gone through and changed the numbers of a lot of the parameters and it seems to not even effect the model at all, which makes me think something is freezing or overriding my parameters as well. Please let me know if you have any ideas!
