Yes, in my case, I add the following to my ~/.bash_profile
file,
export CPATH=/Applications/Xcode.app/Contents/Developer/Platforms/MacOSX.platform/Developer/SDKs/MacOSX.sdk/usr/include/malloc:${CPATH}
You can run find /Applications -name malloc.h
and find /Library -name malloc.h
to verify the correct location. For example, if you have Xcode Command Line Tools installed rather than the full installation of Xcode, the location might be something like,
/Library/Developer/CommandLineTools/SDKs/MacOSX10.15.sdk/usr/include/malloc
NOTE: You will need to start a new Terminal instance or source ~/.bash_profile
manually to get the changes to take effect.
