Rheology initialization from Ice surface temperature

Hello, everyone;
I'd like initialize the ice temperature to calculate ice rheology of Antarctic Ice shelf, so that we can get better boundary condition rather than use coarse SeaRISE data.
Is there nice temperature dataset field of Antarctic or use MODIS29 and optical ice surface temperature?
If we have temperature time series, how can set a transient assimilationn experiments cosponding to synchronize ice veelocity. And it have meaning to inverse rheology variation.

If you have surface and basal temperatures, you can use steadystateiceshelftemp.m. Take a look. Transient data assimilation is not supported yet, and depth averaged ice temperature is not supposed to change significantly on decadal time scales anyway. Good luck!
