Error message when trying to solve SB of HO model...

Hello,

I've extruded my model and am trying to solve the stress balance solution with SSA/HO coupling, but the run is crashing and I get this error message:

??? Error in ==> ./classes/matrix/ElementVector.cpp

ElementVector error message: Two input element matrices are NULL

I am not sure how to troubleshoot this...I've tried plotting my element numbers, but I have too many to look at each individual element.

Hello,

I think that some elements of your mesh do not contain any ice, and some routines used by the coupling have not been updated to allow the treatment of elements with no ice after this capability was implemented into ISSM recently. All the PVector/KMatrix routines should start with:

/* Check if ice in element */

if(!element->IsIceInElement()) return NULL;

which is not the case for many coupling functions. This will be fixed in the next version released and will be added in trunk-jpl today.
