Implementing GIA

Hello, I've a problem with GIA solver.

I use command: md=solve(md,GiaSolutionEnum);, all parameters are given and the problem seems to be missing .outbin file and "Error message: enum provided not supported (GiaAnalysis)loading results from cluster".

I use pre-compiled ISSM version on windows.

Can it be involved with GIA not implemented in this pre-compiled ISSM version? On site there is note about adding line to activate GIA before compilation.

Hi,

the documentation about GIA is available here: http://issm.jpl.nasa.gov/documentation/gia/

you should use

>> md=solve(md,GiaSolutionEnum);

Now, the GIA solver is implemented in FORTRAN and it is not supported for Windows (I think), so you might get another error message later on... sorry!

Okay, got ISSM compiled with GIA and working on linux... but there is the same error. Is there any ISSM - GIA example model (like tutorials) which could I use to learn what data is right? Or maybe someone have any suggestions how should I get the right parameters?

Are you sure you used GiaSolutionEnum ? Because it seems like you are using GiaAnalysisEnum. GIA is still under development, you should talk to Surendra Adhikari.

Yes, I'm sure, it looks like GiaSolutionEnum is using also GiaAnalysisEnum.

On linux error is:

??? Error using ==> ./analyses/EnumToAnalysis.cpp EnumToAnalysis error message: enum provided not supported (GiaAnalysis) ??? Error using ==> ./analyses/EnumToAnalysis.cpp

Okay, got the problem, I compiled ISSM without packages that GIA module needs (probably "with-blas-lapack" or "enable development"). My new configuration where GIA is working in the attachment.
